How do I pay the fee?

It costs 200 SEK per year to be in the housing queue at boplats.se. You pay the fee once a year. You must pay the same month each year. On My Pages you can see when you are supposed to pay next time.

Log in and go to My Pages / Payment. If your payment is due, there will be a payment slip marked with red and the text "Payment not yet recieved".

Pay directly by clicking "Pay using card". A window opens and you can fill in the details for your debit card.

You can also pay to bank transfer (bankgiro). Click on "Show slip" to see the sum, bankgiro-number and OCR number. Make sure you pay well in advance, as it may take up to five days for the bankgiro payment to reach us.

If the payment slip is marked is marked with green, the payment is complete. 

I’m trying to pay using card, but it keeps failing. Why does it not work?

If your first attempt to pay by card is unsuccessful for some reason, a security lock is activated by our payment service provider. The security lock will block any further attempts you make to pay using card this year. 

If this happens to you, please pay through bank transfer (bankgiro) this time instead. Next year you will have recieved a new payment slip and will be able to pay using card. 

I'm unsure if I've already paid for this year?

Log in and go to My Pages / Payments to see whether or not Boplats has recieved your payment. There you will se all of your payment slips. The green ones are already paid. 

Unpaid payment slips are marked with red and the text "Payment not yet recieved".

Can I pay for several years at once?

No, you can only pay for one year at a time. To stay in the housing queue and keep your days at Boplats, you need to log in and pay the fee every year. You get a new, unique OCR-number on your new payment slip each year. In order for payment to be properly registered, you must submit the correct OCR-number.

How do I create an account at boplats.se?

You create an account by clicking "Sign up". Submit your name, personal number and e-mailaddress, choose a password and agree to our terms of use. 

If you do not have a Swedish personal number yet, you can register with your date of birth and your e-mailaddress instead. 

You can sign up for an account at boplats.se as soon as you are 17 years old. If you are younger than 17, you can't sign up. 

In order to collect Days at Boplats and apply for apartments, you also need to pay the yearly fee. 

How does having a co-applicant work?

If you are two adults that are going to live together, you can become co-applicants with each other. As co-applicants, you still have your own, personal accounts at boplats.se, but you show landlords that you are applying together. 

The co-applicant has to be registered at boplats.se with a Swedish personal number so that the landlord can make a credit check. You do not have to pay the fee to be a co-applicant, but if you don't, you will not collect Days at Boplats of your own.

You can not transfer Days at Boplats from one person to another. Days at Boplats are personal, they are not added together even if you are co-applicants.

How do I verify my e-mailaddress and mobile number?

Verify email address

  1. Go to My pages / Contact
  2. When you enter your e-mailaddress, an e-mail will be sent to you.
  3. Click the link in the e-mail from noreply@boplats.se.
  4. On the page that opens; fill in the password you use to log in to Boplats, and click verify.

Verify mobile phone

  1. Go to My pages / Contact
  2. When you enter your mobile number, a text message (SMS) is sent to your phone.
  3. Submit the verification code. 
  4. Click Verify mobile phone and fill in the code that was sent to your phone.

How do I add my Swedish personal number to my account at boplats.se?

When you have received your Swedish personal number you must visit us bringing identification and papers from the tax authorities showing your new personal number, and we will change it for you. You can also send us an e-mail with  identification and papers from the tax authorities showing your new personal number attached. 

How do I update my profile?

To update your profile, log in to your account and go to My pages/ My profile. It's the information in your profile that determines whether or not you match the terms for an apartment, so it's important to keep this information up to date. 

 

I have forgotten my password. What do I do?

You can reset your password through your e-mail here. This requires you to have a valid e-mail address on boplats.se.
Another option is to contact us and we will help you change your password.
